| Bio: | This is me--at least, the parts of me that I choose to reveal here. I'm moody, insightful, smart, funny, bitter, honest, blunt, scared... My old livejournal is ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} aglowingmind. I quit using it (for the most part) when someone hurt my feelings. I'm over that, but now I use this one out of habit. Feel free to browse through it if you really find me so interesting.I'm open-minded, but misanthropic. The Gemini in me, perhaps. I used to be a Christian, but now I'm agnostic. I tend toward the “all paths lead to God” line of thought--if there is a God at all. I have a very dirty mind. I strive to avoid hypocrisy, but my major flaw in that department is that I don’t follow politics enough to run my mouth about them as much as I do (a pet peeve of mine regardless of the topic). I make mistakes more than I care to admit, but I regularly do two things which I think are immoral: I eat meat because my addiction is stronger than my will; and I shop at Wal-Mart because I'm poor. Perhaps one day I'll have the strength of character to stop one or both. I love music, all types. (Gangsta rap and hybrid country-pop excluded.) I love to sing, and I'm decent, but my only audience these days is my loyal pets, who gather around the shower for my daily shows. I also love reading and writing. For me, the two are inextricably intertwined. I'm almost constantly doing one or the other. I'll read anything; junk fiction is one of my guilty pleasures. I have a cat and a dog. They are my children, and the only kind I plan to have. I treat them with the adoration that pets deserve but too frequently don’t receive. Animal rights are another passion of mine. I shy away from PETA, however—too crazy for me! If you want an explanation of the username, go to my memories. When you're there, also read the intro.
